With new brewing vessels landing in the brewery, the Polly's brew team decided to give the rickety old brew kit that carried them through their first three years one hell of a send off with the single biggest beer the've ever brewed. This Birthday QIPA has been mega-charged with a 15kg whirlpool addition of Chinook, Mosaic and Simcoe to offset the sweetness of the mash, and rounded off with an 80kg dry-hop addition of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe and Sabro to create a potent, bonafide hop bomb; bringing all manner of sticky, juicy tropical notes and piney bitterness to play off the warming booze.

440ml can. Opaque golden, small white head. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, piney, grassy. Taste is quite sweet, intensely hoppy, boozy, ripe mango, pineapple, grassy, piney, subtle Sabro coconut, grapefruity bitterness. Full bodied, thick. Still think Quad IPAs are ridiculous but this is actually pretty great, boozy but it's integrated, about as easy drinking as a QIPA can be I suppose.
