Florals and light lemon. Farmhouse straw. Clear copper pour with good head and lacing. Light bitter finish with a touch of sweetness. Tap at Hanging Bat.

Cask, half pint. @The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. 30/07/2023 [#6.599 Global - #144 Scotland - #1 Natural Selection Brewing (My Scottish Brewery #41)] Pours dark golden to amber with a small and creamy white head. Mostly lacing. Aroma: mild smoked malts, farmhouse yeast and esters. Taste: plenty of farmhouse yeast, grains, esters and pepper. Tart finish. Next one please!

Cask at the Blue Blazer. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of bramble and farmhouse yeast spice. Taste is more of the same. Creamy texture, spicy finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - attractive amber to red. Creamy white head. Nose - dank, blackberry and candied lemon. Taste - blackberry, parma violet and redcurrant. Tart edge. Palate - light to medium bodied, tart middle and finish. Overall - quite nice.

Can from Cornelius, Leith Walk. Deep golden body with a light haze and a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of yeast, bread and berries. Flavour of grain, musty yeast, white pepper and a subtle fruity finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. An interesting, nicely judged beer.
