Dark brown with a big and bubbly off-white head. Mixes honey, bacon and dried fruit in a not entirely harmonic aroma. Sweetish fruity flavour with a Belgian yeast aroma.

Bottle@Odensetasting. Thanks to Jensentaster! Pours dark brown with a red hew & a lively brown head. Aroma & taste is of sweet malts - nuts/caramel, alcohol & dark fruits. Medium bodied. Ok. (had it luke warm)

Bottle. A brown, clear-looking beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet and malty, with some notes of smoke and beef-stock. The honey is rather disguised on both aroma and flavor, I think I would like it to be more evident. Roasted and sweet flavor with some caramel and chocolate, leading to a finish with chocolate and caramel, but rather weak. Full body, feeling quite dry in the mouth. It’s a good beer, but maybe a bit boring, and the honey seems to be mostly in the name. (080118)

330 ml bottle. Dark brown body with a huge, dense beige head. Aroma is dominated by sweet honey. Flavor is malty, slightly burnt and honeysweet. Not very bitter. Not too keen with honey in beer, but this isn’t too bad.

Bottle, 5.5%. Weak malt aroma. Very dark brown colour. Small light brown head. Mildly roasted, nicely bready flavour. Hint of sweetness, perhaps from the honey which I cannot taste otherwise. Not very bitter and not very strong/peppery, but a quite pleasant beer. Good creamy mouthfeel. Clean, not a typical Belgian yeast flavour.

Bottle courtsey of Craig, Cheers Mate!, had this 02-02-08 Dark reddy brown pour, intriguingly there was some smokiness on the nose. Honey sweetness in the flavour, little bit thin though and didn’t really get much else, not sure what this is trying to be really, never mind it was ok.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, reddish brown with a light brown head leaving some lacework. Lightly vinous from the roasted malts. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt and some fruity accents. Subdued bitterness. Nice alright. 311007

Bottled, thanks Papsoe! Dark brown, creamy head. Sweet and eatrhy. Roasty with gentle notes of honey. Medium bodied with pleasantly soft mouthfeel. Low bitterness. An enjoyable, laid back beer not exactly screaming for attention.
