330ml bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Very deep ruby colour with lasting thin tan head. Bit of ashtray, some charcoal. Some dark fruit skins. Over carbonation. A little disappointing in the mouth. More ashtray, damson combo in the mouth. Some bits are good, like the fruit. Overall a good dark fruit beer.

Bottled(330ml). -Dark coffee coloured, medium sized beige head, sweet honey wheaty nose. Aroma of coffee, caramel, yeast and honey with mild fruity and smoked notes. A way too sweet but but quite nice and tasty porter.

A red beer with sediment floating around and a beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges and honey. The flavor is boring with notes of oranges. It is rather carbonated and has a thin body. It would not categorize this as a porter - inspite of the name.

Amber color; thick head. Simple aroma, with some vanilla and caramel. Peculiar flavor, with a touch of roasted malt, smoked malt and nuts; a bit harsh. Too strong ending bitterness (burnt sugar). Not bad, but odd…

Hazy mahogany; fine yellowish head, slowly fading. Nose is more bready-yeasty than honeyish. Roasted malts in evidence, some wood. Bitter-woody taste at first, slowly replaced by more sweet malt flavours, some roasted. Every sip gives new bitterish wood. Not too heavy, even refreshing, which is remarkable for a honey beer. Seems some alcohol shows, but at 5.5%, I'm wondering. Keeps a bit flat. And where's that honey?

Quite typical porter style beer, but more honey sweet. Dark color, medium head. Aroma of roasted malts, rye, honey. Sweet honey taste combined with roasted maltiness. Average complexity. Average beer.
