Fresh sour ale with dried black limes (loomis). Fermented with our house culture (brewer yeasts, bacterias and wild yeasts). Sour, funky but refreshing with subtle notes of black pepper and limes.

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Opaque yellow coloured brew which is all about lemons, the very tarty ones. Apparently they use dried lime or also known as loomi, noomibasra, limooamani or blacklime. Nevertheless the taste is very sour and the lemon make it very tart but it's very refreshing.

Small white head, fast gone over big-bubbled, fully clear pale golden beer. Lactic acid & mild citrus, bit farmyard, smells fresh & invigorating. Light but strengthening acidity; again a mix of lactic & citrus, and an earthy, spicy background; sour apples. Ideal thirstquencher, very light acidburn, just enough carbonation. This is special, but never having tasted black lime before, also difficult to estimate the influence this spice had on the beer. Anyway, it's great. Txs to Stef!

Very pale grey blond colour with no head. It's a light and clean sour beer. Some citrusy notes and mild tropical fruit. Something like 'real' lemonade.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 23. Misty yellow appearance, no head to speak of. Strange aroma that brings to mind moss and mildew. Which doesn't bode well for the taste which valiantly delivers citrussy lemon and limey notes with a mild sourness, but the mildew notes persist in the background. Bit strange overall.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, pale yellow-ish, bright golden colour, no head, just a ring of white bubbles at the bezel. Tangy, citrusy fruity aroma, notes of salted lemon, loomi, hints of lime, a touch of lemon. Taste is tart, citrusy fruity, slightly tangy, notes of salted lemon, loomi, lime, a touch of lemon. Acid thinned, watery texture, astringent palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Well balanced, not overdone, rather monotonous though, almost a bit insipid, still refreshing - pleasurable.
