Light amber color. Hazy. Beer gushes slightly out of the bottle. Citrus and vanilla-aroma. Slight hoppy flavor with vanilla, peach and just a hint of tartness. Some alcohol. Good lacing. Fine beer with a lot of flavor.

On tap at ’Café Demmers’ as ’Vesting Gilde Blond’ at 6.2% abv, according to the bartender brewed by a small brewery in Belgium and not by De Schans anymore. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, honey, vanilla, clove and hints of citrus. Sweetish-malty, moderately yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, honey, vanilla, clove and some citrus, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice, refreshing Blond!

Nice fresh blond beer, with a mildly bitter taste of fruit and some herbs. Very thirst quenching.
