Rich chocolate, raspberry, sweet vanilla and a big pile of creamy oats, make for a full-bodied but dairy-free pastry stout. It’s a cheese-less and cake-less cheesecake beer.
Or a stout. Let’s just call it a stout.

Keg at Cork and Cage, Stirchley, 18/02/23. Black with a moderate tan cap. Nose is chocolate dipped raspberries, dark malts, brown sugar melt, toffee fudge. Taste comprises chocolate melt, red berries, icing sugar, dark malts, cheesecake base. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light tangy edge. Fun pastry ... well balanced ... doesn't get too sweet.

Keg @ Hop Lord, Worcester. Pours black, unclear, ring of beige bubbles atop. Aroma has sweet chocolate desert, lactose, vanilla. Strong chocolate pudding notes to taste, gentle oaty creaminess, complimentary vanilla, moderate sweetness, comes together well. Decent.
