330ml bottle. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, red wine, oak, brown sugar. Taste is rich, sweet, chocolate, red wine, oak, brown sugar, toffee, dark berries, raisin, fruit cake, sweet but has a dry-ish finish with warming booze. Full bodied and smooth. Far better than the non-BA Stavanger which was overwhelmingly sweet.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 29/05/22. Black with a good sized tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, dried fruit rinds, toffee fudge, mellow barrel nip, spice. Taste comprises chocolate, dried fruit rinds, candied fruit peel, toffee, sugars, mellow roast, jammy red berries, subtle barrel, hint of liquorice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent easy drinking BA impy if perhaps stuck in the lower end of 4th gear thus not reaching 'Ww' !
