Opiliones

We backed up a Tonka truck full of tonka beans for our latest release. Opiliones is a full bodied malty and chocolatey stout infused with fresh Brazilian tonka beans, Peruvian cacao nibs and vanilla. This fragrant and slightly spicy bean adds an unusual yet intriguing, perfumed aroma, backed up by an expected chocolate ice cream flavour derived from the malt, nibs and vanilla - and we used a relatively simple grist comprising of 5 different malts to enable the adjuncts to sing and dance.
