7.8

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours cloudy golden with a thick, frothy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy and fruity, green fruits, gooseberry, kiwi, star fruit, passionfruit, grapefruit and some green vibes. The taste is initially dry, bitter - sweet, thick and juicy, tropical fruits, melon, gooseberry, greengage, pithy citrus, blood orange, campari, passionfruit, resin, green, weedy, dank, spice, floury bread and gummy bears. Medium to thick body and moderate carbonation. Flavorful, but also a bit too thick. Sat a touch heavy in the palate the first time round. Had another can on the next release it was a touch lighter, which worked better into. Was a 3.7, now a 3.9

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy nay murky, orange to brown. Off-white head. Nose - apricot, melon and earthy/yeasty undernote. Taste - ripe apricot and sweet melon. Palate - creamy in texture. Medium bodied. Nice taper and linger on the finish. Overall - lovely stuff and it slips down.
