Fiddler's Elbow is a wonderfully refreshing beer brewed with wheat, malt and hopped with Styrian Goldings. It has an earthy hop aroma balanced by juicy malt, with a tart citric fruit flavour & a long quenching hoppy finish.

[500ml bottle, gift from Mum & Dad - cheers!] Amber-brown with a thin, off-white head. Soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Smells fruity, tastes of sweet malt and fruit (apples?). A little bitterness in the finish, but not much. It’s a very pleasant, easy-drinking summer ale, but lacks depth.

Bottle at Pig and Whistle in Kyoto. Medium copper color, rather tall white head. Rich caramel malt aroma with strong hops. Quite fragrant. Malt flavor is rather rich, with caramel, though hops balance nicely as well. Rather straightforward, with citrus. Not all that interesting, but good.
