Fiddler's Elbow is a wonderfully refreshing beer brewed with wheat, malt and hopped with Styrian Goldings. It has an earthy hop aroma balanced by juicy malt, with a tart citric fruit flavour & a long quenching hoppy finish.

Nut brown colour. Rich aroma of light dried fruits which is a strong element of the flavour too. Light roasted malt and a little hop comes through. A really full flavoured beer that is easy to drink.

Bottle: Amber coloured, mid-sized, slowly diminishing off-white head, citrus-fruity and malty nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; lingering juicy-malty and also hoppy finish. Pleasant and refreshing......

Bottle: Poured thick hazy light brown amber very still with no reaction really. The head on the other hand formed medium and off white, but dissipated fast leaving residue on the glass. Aroma was fruit and earthy. Taste is sweet malty wheat, unlike most English ales it finished hoppy and lively.

Bottle. Clear, golden body, with a nice, but rapidly diminishing off-white head. The aroma is quite malty, but there’s a citrusy hoppiness there as well. The citrus is more evident in the flavor, but also here the beer is quite malty and bready. Nice bitterness. Medium body, and a fine blend of malt, citrus and bitterness in the finish. Really quaffable. (071020)

Bottle. Aroma is sweet malts with citrus and hops. It’s not their strongest attempt, but it’s decent enough as a nice desert beer that could be paired with some sweet fruits.

500ml bottle from Aldi. Deep gold with an off-white head; rich fruity aroma; creamy, sweet and fruity, with a good rounded bitterness. An excellent session bitter.

bottle - Pours light amber with a big, fluffy head that leaves some lacing. It has a mild, malty aroma. The flavori s caramel malt and moderately bitter hops. The hops are alright, but just doesn’t seem to be my favorite variety of hops by any means. There’s a medium body and light carbonation leading into a dry finish. Fairly good, but unremarkable...

Muddy orange-amber beer with a good, dense, yellow coloured head, leaving some lace. Very meaty esters’ nose, dried raw ham, dried (sorry, really!) dog poop. A bit grassy too, thankfully. Soft-sweet, cookie malt taste. Just a bit nondescript fruity, ending a bit lacty. Malts dominate throughout, never shaking off the esters. Very slick, medium bodied. Aftertaste becomes more fruity. Well thìs lagerboy is not exactly over the moon with all this taste. It might be better on cask, no doubt, but what I’m getting is pretty close to off-taste!
