A mix fermentation ale, brewed with wheat, fermented and conditioned with a mixed culture of yeast and bacteria, and then aged in oak barrels for one year. It was then re-fermented with delicious Herefordshire cherries from Hargrove Farm. This is a special one and we have a limited quantity available…

Bottle picked up from the new mixed fermentation and barrel room at Deya and consumed at home in the company of Jude and Baz listening to Maserati - Rehumanizer and cooking Käsespätzle, Monday 13th June 2022. Pours blood red with a fast disappearing pink head, sharp cherry, cherry stones super zappy, funkier than expected, dry, tart, this is lovely.

Keg at the taproom. Deep ruby red, frothy pink head disappearing. Aroma and taste of cherries, some funk, hints of oak, hint of almond nuttiness, tart tangy sourness.
