Can from Total Wine in Orlando, FL. Pours gold with a slight white head. Meh sweetish aroma. Flavor is not much. Not gonna drink it.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with large frothy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of grainy malts, fruits, grassy hops and some skunky notes, too. Taste is average lager-like, nothing special, with light bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Average macro lager, still better than many Austrian or German lagers...

Half a pint from tap at Bar Bacca, Belfast. Clear light golden with a white head. Lightly malty aroma with hints of fruit, soap and vegetables. Just another industrial pale lager - drinkable, but quite boring and not much flavour. Some bitterness in the finish and slightly watery. (2011-06-10)

Can from the LCBO at 5% ABV, says imported from Scotland (I guess they pumped it up for Canadian drinkers or maybe we are getting their 1885 Export Lager - not sure). Pours a golden colour with a big creamy white head that stays a while and leaves dirty lace. Matly nose on the corn side... with hints of adjunct. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. Not much to the taste; light maltiness, with hints of hop that gives a touch of fruity flavour to it. Nothing really bad and probably a decent session brew in Scotland.

Has a very faint hop aroma, a nice gold body but very modest head. Flavour is heavy on the hoppiness with a moderate finish. It’s an okay lager but not a great one.

Aroma - Not much here, vague hint of spicy hops.
Taste - light bitter, faint spicy hops, grains, paper, slight metal.
Palate - extremely high carb, thin body. Slight bitterness. Finish - light bitter, paper, some sweet light malts.
Not the worst macro lager, drinkable, but boring and bland.

On tap at Ryries. Pours golden amber with loads of bubbles and a small head which does stay around. The nose has pale malt and not much else, to be honest. The taste has malt, then nothing else, just a malt note that gets more horrible all the way to the end. Oh yes, there’s a metallic note. The palate is light in structure and texture but at least it is fairly clean. Overall, it’s pretty bad but if you’re going to drink pissy lager, at least drink your local one.
