Badger Bar, Rydal, Lake District. Cask. Malty aroma with a hint of oak. orange brown color. Malty, hoppy flavor with some licorice. Long hoppy aftertaste with a hint of coffee.

Cask. Medium amber with a full head. Light malty aroma. Flavour is malt and nut. Finish is light dry hop.

Cask on stillage at the Stag and Hounds, Binfield. Golden amber in colour with a scummy head; caramel aroma; simple caramel malt taste; and a sweet caramel biscuit finish. Pleasantly drinkable, but rather ordinary.

Cask at the Bridge, Kingswinford. Pours dark orange with a medium head. Aroma is creamy, fruity malt. Not much to start on the taste. Some fruity malt on the finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Market Porter, 9 Stoney Street, Southwark London, Greater London England SE1 9AA.Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20081231]
