When we saw the good folks at North Park were coming to Hop City, we just had to reach out, having been blown away by any of their highly hopped beers we could get our hands on.

Boundaries have well and truly been pushed to the limits, with us TDHing (Triple Dry Hopping) this Double IPA with a prodigious amount of Nelson Sauvin (CGX & T90), Motueka (Sub Zero Hop Keif & T90), Citra (Cryo & T90), Rakau T90 and HBC 586 T90. Deep breath.......enjoy!

Can. Very hazy and yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy malts, nice light creamy sweetness. A multitude of hop treatments and deliveries in this brew. Impressive, to me at least, is that the Nelson Sauvin is actually obvious, winey grape that actually tastes like Nelson did 10 years ago. Light floral lime from Motueka fits in well. Citra and HBC586 provide smooth orange, a whisper of pink grapefruit and mildly ripe tropical fruits provide extra dimensions on the back end. Delightful dipa. All flavours harmonious and Nelson that actually tastes vaguely like it used to.

Can @ Din Øl, Odense. Pours hazy Golden with a creamy lasting head. Bright hoppy nose. Juicy. Tropical fruit. Nectarine, pineapple and peach. Soft and smooth with a good chewy body. Intense and quite quaffable.

Can thanks to my brother. It pours cloudy golden - yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, sticky, fresh, ripe, sappy, nectarine, peachy, mango, passion fruit, nectarine, vanilla yoghurt, solera, orange creamsicle, green, weedy and dank. The taste is initially dry, bitter - sweet, but mostly sweet actually, orange fanta ice cream float, green, weedy, dank, flinty, touch of astringency, pithy, zesty, orange creamsicle, fruit smoothie, milk sugar, touch of boozey action and light spice with a drying finish. Medium+ body and fine, foamy carbonation. Nice elements to it, but ultimately it's too sweet for my tastes.
