500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Shared at a summer session with Synny, Lunde and Finn. Clear brownish body, tiny off-white head, fair lacing. Promising smell of caramel malts and dried fruits. Similar taste, caramel-fruity, and added by a spicy touch. Mid-sweet malt-driven ending. Medium bodied. Decent.

Aroma; malt, karamell, urter, chilli, plomme.

Ruby red / brown with a creamy tan head and a nutty, malty aroma. Lighter bodied than anticipated, fresh and fruity, just a hint of spice with a slightly chewy malt backbone and a dry finish

Bottle from Leven's hall. Nose is dark malty, hazelnut, spice. Taste is dark fruit, malt, hint of licorice, roast, spice, cigar smoke, herbal hop, slight chili buzz. It's enjoyable. Hard to believe this is the original recipe; a 5.5% beer couldn't have kept for 21 years.
