Panda thanks to Wingman. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived bubbly dark tan head. Smooth palate, fairly light all told, a modest dryness and decent fine carbonation. Transient intensity bursts out of the glass. Super rich chocolate cake / chocolate torte. Ripe fruity chocolate segues seamlessly into the punchy fruity whisky and whisky alcohol spice. Fairly light finish. Long spicy linger. Woof! Intense!

Flavor are malts, dark malts, dark chocolate, espresso, espresso chocolate bitter and bourbon. Wow this is something else. Full body, soft velvety texture, soft carbonation. Awesome beer.
Dark sweet roasted malty with choclarand caramel dark sweet malty finish. Lovely
Lil bit of green pepper at first but it airs out. Nice chocolatey sweet maple coffee syrup.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2024. Vintage 2021) Black colour with creamy, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, vanilla, coffee and maple syrup. Malty, roasted taste with notes of sweet espresso, dark chocolate, vanilla, maple syrup, treacle and a balanced coffee bitterness in a vinous and chewy finish. Full body, sweet. Boozy, sweet and powerful. Still, really rich, tasty and far better balanced than expected. Great beer!

2023 Vintage Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Crazy nose of rye whiskey, pepper, bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate and rye chaff. Palate is very similar with a nice warming boozy rye whiskey flavor that sits next to dark chocolate, milk chocolate and vanilla underneath. Some kit-kat like notes. Finishes dry. Great stuff!
