330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with minimally late awakening, small, frothy, fading, tan head. Nutty, minimally chocolately, dark malty and caramel malty aroma, notes of praline, hazelnut cookies, minimally herbal hoppy overtones with a touch of woodruff. Taste is sweet-ish, nutty and toasty, dark malty and caramel malty, slightly fruity alcoholic, diluted notes of praline, wafer, hazelnut; very unpleasant finish with notes of burnt nuts, burnt wafers, woodruff.
Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation.
Okay-ish nose and tolerable taste, disgusting finish - awkward.

Pigs Ear. Bottle. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, pretty sweet. Sweet dark chocolate malts. Mild caramel. Floral fruits, milky sweet. Smooth finish. Pretty milky sweet. Okay ish.

Bottle shared at Pigs Ear - cheers to Kenny. Pours clear deep brown with a small, creamy tan head. Big sweet flavour, ores of sugary chocolate, frosting, mild earthy hops, toffee. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, lightly warming, some vanilla, gooey chocolate frosting. So so. Pretty basic.

Bottle at Joe's. Pours black, nose is dusty, hazelnut, chocolate, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, caramel, nutty.

330ml bottle. Pours murky brown with little brown lumps floating around, no head - it literally looks like sewage water, easily one of the worst looking beers I've ever seen. Aroma of hazelnut, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is sweet, rich chocolate, prominent roasted hazelnuts, vanilla, lactose, biscuity, nutty. Medium bodied. A nice pastry porter but good grief they need to work on making it look more appetising!
