25cl bottle @ home when having dinner. Clear ruby red color, small off-white to beige head. Smell malts, sweet. Taste malts, sweetness and (Dutch) ’stroop’. Low carbo, low body. Nice to have with dinner, obviously that’s what it’s intended for.

Bottle 25cl. @ home.Alc. 1.35%. Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, caramel sugar, light brown sugar. Flavor is light heavy sweet with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic and metalic sweet. [20090701]

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, no head to speak of; sweet caramel with a tinge of roasted barley in the aroma; sweet flavour, light bodied; short empty sweet finish with a well hidden fruitiness. MOre a german Malzbier than a Belgian Ale.......

Bottle, 1.35%. Bready aroma, quite weak and not very sweet. Clear dark brown colour, small tan head. The flavour is quite sweet, though. OK brown sugar flavour, some bread. The finish is quite dry, a lot like artificial sweetener.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits and a bit of roasted malt. The flavor is extremely sweet and very artificial and some caramel. Too artificial.

25 cL bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours drk brown with a clear and golden amber glare and a fully gone head. Aroma is mild breadish dark malty. Solid sweet malty flavour at first with a distinct metallic note following into the finish.

Bottle. Dark ruby brown, small off-white head. Very, very sweet, extremely sticky. Syrupy and metallic. So much sugar it nearly killed me.

Bottled. Very dark brownish amber colour with mediumsized brown creamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel and some paper. Flavour is very much the same. Watery, but refreshing.
