Jopen Little Brown Bag Chocolate Brown Ale is een bruin gekleurd bier, gebrouwen in Nederland voor hun experimentele (J)open Chapters 2023 serie. Deze variant beschikt over een zeer robuust aroma. Een met een zeer stevige kern van geroosterde chocolade. Deze geroosterde tonen lopen door naar zijn smaak, gehuld in een dikke laag van romige chocolade. Verder bloeien er sterke notities op van karamel en gebrande nootjes. Jopen Little Brown Bag Chocolate Brown Ale heeft een alcoholpercentage van 9%.

Can from a local bottle shop. Aroma is roasted malt with chocolate, some caramel and coffee. Hoped for more nutty notes. Flavour is fairly bitter and medium sweet. Medium body. Doesn't fulfill the Strong Brown Ale potential, needs more damned nuts.

YG 291024. Brown color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, yeast, caramel. Nice beer.

Can. An unclear brown beer with a dense, finger thick dark beige head. Some curtains. The aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate, some coffee, caramel and a very distinct, really pleasant fruity, woody touch. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, nicely carbonated and not very sweet. Some bitterness joins in too. Lovely fruity, woody, vinous flavor too, with roasted malts, coffee, caramel and dark chocolate. Lasting finish with all the same goodyness found initially. A really delicious one, would certainly like to have this one again. 241103

Blik 33cl thuis. Cacao, chocoladetonen, caramel, redelijk droog, zoetig, bittertonen wat koffie, roasted malts, licht nutty, hoptonen, wat citrus. (14-4-2024).

33 cl. can @ home, bought @Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Brown with a beige head. Nutty aroma with some chocolate and coffee with milk. Sweet taste with a nice bitter roasty finish. Very decent brown ale.

Tough to say if it’s totally the beer’s problem or it’s lifetime. But it is thin and acrid noticeably. There is buried a good nutty cracker brown buried underneath. Gollem amstelstraat

Ongebalanceerd, bitter, wat is er met Jopen aan de hand, dit is de tweede direct achter elkaar die maar vrij matig zijn. Kees heeft de smaken in zijn bier beter voor elkaar dan Jopen imo

Can. Dark brown. Indeed quite some cocoa, roasted malts, light alcohol, rye bread, old dusty nuts. Light sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied with dry finish and soft booze. Surprisingly not sweet for a brownie imperial brown ale, a bit too dry and boozy for me but has nice aroma.

Keg at taphuys utrecht. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, caramel, nutty, taste is sweet, roasted, chocolatey.
