Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and butter. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, butter, and wheat, leading to a dry wheaty finish. The butter makes it cloying.

Bottle. It pours a quite clear body, golden in color and with a dense, off-white to white head. Finger-thick. Buttery nose with banana, cloves and some maltyness, not very pleasant. The flavor is equally buttery, making it quite unpleasant. Banana, cloves and some wheat as well. Not much bitterness going on at any stage. Medium body, pleasant carbonation. Not my choice of weissbier, that’s for sure. 120217

Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 01/2012)
Hazy yellow-orange color, good cloudy white head, active carbonation with lots of bubbles. Dryish bubblegum aroma with hints of cardboard. Medium-bodied, fizzy. Citrusy, estery flavors, barley malty. Aftertaste is a bit thin and more like in malty helles than in weizen. Lots of citrus and as such quite refreshing.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, some mild fruits, bread and mild wooden notes. Flavour is rather similar with the yeast being a bit more evident.

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a thick and minimal off-white foamy head. Slightly sweet malty nose with restrained wheaty notes, bubblegum, subtle citrus-fruits and present grassy and herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderately wheaty and slightly citric and yeasty taste with light hoppy spice; moderately dry, slightly sweet and minimal bitter finish. A bit unorthodox but pleasant Hefeweizen. 23.XI.09

Draught at the brwepub. Cloudy pale orange. Strong aroma of cloves and banana. Estery and a bit fruity with some vanilla. The most prominent feature is the velvetty soft mild wheat malt making it very pleasant and refreshing.
