Bottle courtesy of Ekstedt shared @ Ekstedts bock-tasting. Pours clear golden with a small white head that quickly dissipates while leaving lots of trace on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and rather stale with old bread, over-ripe fruits and hints of caramel. Taste is sweet, metallic, tiny floral and stale with bread, honey and grass. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with rather high carbonation. Finish is sweet, slightly bitter, malty and metallic with some bread and caramel.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, hay and grassy hops. Malty taste with notes of bread, hay, tropical fruit, grain and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. Slightly more than medium body, not as sweet as expected. Very tasty and well balanced bock beer with a nice grassy hop character.

330 ml bottle. Golden body with a big, creamy off-white head. Mild aroma of clean malt and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet malty, mild bitter, fruity and alcohol. Fine body, decent bitterness in finish, a bit sharp on the alcohol but quite pleasant.

Anonym. Egentlig en skuffelse.
