Dark in appearance. Built with a red ale grain bill.

Aged in Awesome blended grain & malt Irish whiskey in ex-rum barrels.

A well rounded balanced beer with dark fruit notes, hints of raisin, a soft biscuit bite, sweet woody creamy vanilla, and caramel with a smooth treacle rum note.

Dark reddish brown colour with thin head. Fairly lively carbonation. Aroma and flavour have a huge amount of rum. Sweet with lots of dried fruit notes.

ABV: 8.9%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, rum, sweet malt, wood, oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, rum, wood, raisin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190124]

Sample at SBWF 2018. Hazy amber with a small head. Sweet with rum, caramel and light malt. The body was full and the finish with some warming alcohol.

Keg at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of caramel and rum. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and rum, warming with some grass. Mid bitter finish.
