Slightly hazy dark amber beer with an off white head. Aroma of caramelized malt, red fruits, nuts, pine. Taste of mild piney hops, caramel, red malt, moderate bitterness.

Canned 440ml. -at Hops Craft Beer Pub Graz. Dark golden/amberish coloured, medium sized off-white head, herbal and light caramel nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light bready and herbal with bitterish sweet finish.

Slightly hazy amber. Aroma is pine bread dough pistacchio foresty hops. Taste is rural bitter with a bit of malty sweetness. Overall rather dense malty body. Fluffy carbonation. Nice.

Heislätor, ein Wiesen Märzen (Zusammenschreibung ist anscheinend aus der Mode gekommen) von Yankee & Kraut und Brewage, 44-cl-Dose für stattliche 3,95 € von Getränkefeinkost, MD. - Goldbraun, trüb; üppiger lockerer Schaum. - In der Nase massive aber gedämpfte, schön exotische zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, Grapefruit, etwas Ananas, leise harzige Herbe; dahinter toastiges Malz. - Antrunk mächtig wienermalzig mit saftiger, fein exotisch-zitrusfruchtiger Hopfung, Pampelmuse, ein wenig tropische Frucht, rote Beeren, Harz. Zarte Honigsüße. Etwas stärker rezent als nötig, vollmundig. Im Abgang stattliche aber nicht knallige Hopfenherbe mit leise kühlender Menthol-Note. - Außerordentlich aromatisch gehopftes Märzenbier, mit 6 % ein wenig alkoholschwerer als üblich aber sehr sauber und enorm süffig. Dafür nehme ich auch den überzogenen Preis und den Schwindel bei der Dosengröße in Kauf. (7.4.2024.)

Leicht eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, brotiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, brotig mit Karamell, leicht grasig hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Süffiger, herb-karamelliger Beginn mit bitter-grasigem Hopfen. Milde Süße, cremig, Noten von Zitrus, die Bitterkeit nimmt zu. Frisch aber würzig, der Hopfen steigt drutlich an, hopfig, Noten von Honig. Langer Abgang. 10/11/12/11/11/11

Ein wirklich tolles Oktoberfestbier🥨, das es schafft sich durch einen eigenen Charakter auszeichnet 🤠 und doch eine Süffigkeit bringt, die seinesgleichen sucht. Ein Bier, das es versteht, dass auch ein süffiges Trinkbier 🍻 ein interessantes Aromenspiel haben kann.

Can, Heislätor Wiesen Märzen. Dark amber body, hazy. Jammy, hoppy, aroma, bit malty. Lean, light floral taste, bitterish taste. Okay, not that Märzenish... Too dried out lightly unclean, maybe not fresh.

Can, Bierkiste. Clear red amber, golden lacing foam. Honeyish, flowery, peppery aroma. Medium full body, honey toasted, grassy, herbal, citric hops on a nice dry chewy yet juicy base, light berry and honeyish sweetness in the finish. Yup, my kind of beer.

Can picked up from Bierkiste, München and consumed at home Sunday 8th October 2023 listening to Explosions in the Sky - End but now John Grant - Queen of Denmark one of my favourite albums of the last 10 - 15 years a spectacular album. We're cooking Octopus with plums after a morning of pressing and juicing apples and making bread (Loz). Pours deep amber with a haze and mid sized white/off white head. Quite bready and malty, reminds me a little of a Fuller's ESB or similar, but haven't had one of those for ages so perhaps my mind deceives me. Fruity with caramel and there is a plummy tang and I am not being swayed by the Octopus with plums that we're having for team. V.good.
