Glass is our series of beers characterised by a delicate minerally flavour, fresh kettle-hop aroma, and the addition of sea salt in the blending tank. This is our third iteration. In February, April and August 2020 we produced extra pale, minerally worts, with fresh East Kent Goldings hops. The fresh hops add wonderful aromatics (quite distinct from dry hop character) as well as acting to restrain the acidity produced in the wild fermentation. We made a blend from the four most delicate tasting barrels and added a touch of Cornish sea salt into the blending tank to give a crisp finish.

Pours a medium colored blodne. Medium large white, fairly fast fading head. Scent is funky from a distant, intensifying up close, with the addition of a high minerality, some complex grainy base. No wood (don't know if this is oak aged, but sour ales always give me that assumption, though far from all are,e specially outside BE) . Taste is sharp, pushed by a very high (too high for me) carbo, acidic and bone dry (aided by the saltyness -which remains mild in intensity but definately gives this one a push) citrussy acidity (quite high, could have enjoyed this more if it were tweaked down just a notch) . Enjoyable, but wouldn't go out of my way to find this (again) .

Bottled July 2022. Golden, clear body, with a medium, off-white head. Aroma of citrus, funk, wood, straw, apple, some stone fruits. Tastes quite similar, with a bit more vinegar. Medium mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes medium acidic, dry, citric, wooden, with green apple zest. A bit on the acidic side, while still well balanced. Beautiful funk and fruit notes. Very fresh and elegant to drink. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

Bottle, 750 ml. Shared with Zec, JFK10000, MiroB at my Grande. Cloudy orange with medium white head. Medium funk, some fruity notes, peach, citric, mineral. Medium sourness.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled July 2022. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells grassy, funky, earthy, herbal. Nice to very nice smell. full body, bubbly carbonation. tastes grassy, earthy, peppery, herbal, tobacco. finishes lightly dry and light to medium sour with notes of grassy, earthy and peppery notes. Very nice one

Bottle. Mills online. Second go at this. Must have just fancied chugging the first one without thinking about it. Anyway. Soft haze on a pale gold. Very decent glossy white foam. Crisp mineraly and lightly funky. Super clean and bright. Sharp fine carbonation. Nice hop spice. Clean mineral finish. Not too complex but nevertheless it’s a quality easy drinking affair.

750 ml. Thanks Gene! Aroma is sharp oak and vinegar. Flavor has mild oak, soft sharp sour and mild apple. Nice!

750mL bottled 12/2022, drunk 3/18/23, thanks, Gene! Mostly clear, honey-bronze. No head. Really nice nose, lots of lactic acid it, but well-aged and not punchy. Hint of coriander and heavy mineral. Soft, light malt, malo-lactic goodness with light tannin. Great balance to it with juicy fruits and lingering gentle bitterness. Clean but with plentiful minerality. Wow this is fantastic, especially given the abv.
