Best before 05/25, buying it in Germany, opening it two days ago at home, sharing it with my wife. A light and tasty pale ale, sparkling, herbal, dry, malt, citrus, bitter, a bit watery, aromatic and floral hop, just refreshing.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Vaguely fruity aroma with hints of peaches, berries and caramel. Taste is mildly bitter on a thin, watery palate. Light bodied, moderate to mild carbonation, relatively dry. Mild, lingering fruitiness. Refreshing. Ok.

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with an almost white small foamy head and good lacing. There’s a pronounced flowery and perfumed aroma to this one. In the mouth it starts off sweet and malty, but with some underlying hops, and flavour of marmalade and corn. Gradually floral hops come to dominate and it becomes quite butter with lemon, gooseberry and pine notes, leading to a slightly dry finish. It’s entirely reasonable.
