Pure West is our core unfiltered West Coast IPA—a celebration of hand-selected hops and the farmers who grew them. Featuring Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Strata, and Simcoe, this golden-colored creation glows with scents of pineapple, apricot, and lemon sorbet. Flavors of grapefruit zest, lychee, and resin give way to a solid bitter finish, classic to the style.

US Pint on 5th August 2025, Happy Hour (14:00 to 18:00) in the Beach Hut Deli on La Paz. Hazed light urine yellow, white crust. Citrus feel from start to finish, grapefruit being the main flavours and aroma I picked up, poured very cold and into a frosted glass, so I had to wait awhile before I smelled or tasted anything!

Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 17, 2024. Aroma is fairly hop forward with notes of passion fruit, guava, gooseberry and tropical citrus. Lighter dank, resin notes. Medium light cracker malt and light alcohol notes. Pours a slightly hazy, yellow-gold with a medium sized, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of passion fruit,y tropical citrus and berries. Lighter dank, pine notes that linger a bit into the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent West Coast IPA. I like the hop profile but I wish it were a bit stronger and more assertive with a bit more bitterness. This is so light that it doesn't quite feel like a west coast IPA. Bitterness and alcohol notes are balanced. Malt profile is light, but flavorful.

Pale with a slight chill haze. Thin head. Weedy, slightly lemony hop aroma. Light pale malt and dank hops. Lean. The malt lends a touch of graininess. Bitterness is actually a bit low, I'd prefer to see more.

Taster flight at Bridge & Tunnel. Clear golden pour, small foamy white which leaves streaky lacing. Hoppy little number, notes of citrus, pine and dank. Resiny feel and a bit sticky and mouth coating. Hoppiness lingers.
