Pure West is our core unfiltered West Coast IPA—a celebration of hand-selected hops and the farmers who grew them. Featuring Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Strata, and Simcoe, this golden-colored creation glows with scents of pineapple, apricot, and lemon sorbet. Flavors of grapefruit zest, lychee, and resin give way to a solid bitter finish, classic to the style.

Canned 1/10/23, drunk 2/14/23. Clear, bronze-brass-golden. Large, well-retained, white head. Sweaty, stone-fruit-laden nose with light pine and moderate citrus. Some pineapple and a good undercurrent of supportive, but seemingly well-attenuated malts. No alcohol, flaw, weird yeast or resin. Soft, malty, lightly juicy but with firm bitterness throughout. Ending on dry pineapple, nectarine, light pine and lemony citrus with biscuit, honey and cracker-like malts that are indeed well-attenuated. Drinkable and clean with excellent bitterness but not excessively-so, nor with any gross pine resin or booze. A wonderful example of how brewers are adapting the West Coast IPA to actually be enjoyable.

On tap at Pure Project - Miramar, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, light resinous oils and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and oily, with piney hops, oily resins and crisp biscuity malt. Piney, oily, crisp. Pretty good.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is tropical. Ripe fruit. Med body. Light malt support, but dryish. Fruit seems melon and citrus/pine. Bitter. It seems to touch all the bases for West Coast IPA, but I think the flavor is weakish.
