We teamed up with Miami's J. Wakefield Brewing to create another dessert inspired stout! For this edition we simplified things and go to the root of all tasty treats. Vanilla Truffle is an Imperial Stout with Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Beans.
Vanilla Truffle announces itself with a big aroma of brownie batter and charred marshmallows. The palate provides deep vanilla, pot du crème flavor with subtle notes of toffee and caramel. A full, rich mouthfeel leaves a coating on the glass and lingering, satisfying sweetness.

500ml bottle from Libbey’s Liquors. Dark brown pour is topped by a brief tan head that settles to a scant ring. Roasted malt aroma has notes of toffee and vanilla. Flavor is sweet roasted malt and vanilla. Reminds me of the best waffle I ever had at a Waffle House just off of Route 78 outside of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Smooth, roasty and sweet. Quite delicious, if you ask me.

Black wtih small brown head. Vanilla, caramel, toasted marshmallow, chocolate fudge malt, and fresh hay aroma. Very sweet toasted marshmallow, vanilla caramel, chocolate fudge malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body.

500 ml bottle from Half TIme, via delivery, split with Mike, 3/22/26. Dark brown, small brown head. Roasty, chocolate, vanilla. Smooth, balanced between sweet and dry, leaning slightly dry. Good stuff. Well made.

Bottle shared. Thanks Alex! Pours a deep chestnut brown to black with a small bit of beige head that dissipates. Vanilla and cacao nib on the nose with some coffee notes as it warms. Rich and creamy on the palate...almost like liquid fudge. A bit of baker's chocolate and vanilla as it warms. Lingering dark chocolate on the finish. Not overly sweet on the palate and finishes with good balance.

Pours black, small tanned head. Smell is rich, sweet, vanilla, chocolate. Creamy, intense. Taste is full, rich, creamy, chocolate. intense, vanilla. very nice ! Thick body and low carbo. Desert in a glass !

750ml bottle thanks to Steve pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice big sweet chocolate vanilla nutty notes and bourbon. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate vanilla nutty notes and barrel booze.

Black colour with small brownish head. Explosive aroma of chocolate, with vanilla. Full bodied, sweet, full chocolate flavour, vanilla, tobacco; compared to a truffle, it tastes a bit artificial.
