Thanks Brian best by 10 26 22 aroma is roasted chocolate, taste is slightly flat not really creamy. Slightly thin more like a porter. Meh.

Clear black to dark brown beer, small creamy dense beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: some chlorines, good roast, malty, lots of coffee, more coffee, very roasted, wow! MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: roasted, lots of coffee, malty, caramel, soft bitterness, some chlorine. Aftertaste: bit oxidized, pretty bitter, very roasted, lots of coffee, slightly sourish, more roast, pretty bitter finish.

This brew pours a dark brown color with a bit of mahogany around the edges, and a medium frothy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Chocolate, malt and vanilla aromas. Light-bodied with flavors of fudge, roasted malt, and vanilla coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Above average overall.
