Taster pour at Mikkeller Bar, L.A. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, reddish-brown small head with decent retention. Aroma is wine, cherry/dark fruits, rich roastiness and chocolate. Taste follows aroma with dominant cherry. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, very good but the cherry is a bit strong.

500ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is vanilla roast malts some cherries and the port barrel comes in. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts port oak barrel vanilla cherries and some coffee.

Bottle - pours black tan head - nose and taste of cherry, chocolate fudge and port - full body
