Synchopathic is the combination of a refreshingly tart and acidic sour ale with robust-citrusy, fruity & floral dry-hops one would otherwise find in a pale ale, with aromas and flavors reminiscent of grapefruit, orange, lemon, tangerine, pineapple and hints of pine, giving way to a biscuity-crackery malt backbone, low bitterness and dry finish to bring it all in synch. Cheers.

Can, 0.355l. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, ripe pineapple, pine, biscuit, flowers and hints of sauerkraut. Pours almost clear dark golden color with medium sized creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet biscuity, tart citrusy, ripe tropical fruity and funky, following is piney, bready and woody, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Insane sour series...

Can 35,5 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a thick and frothy white head with lacing and excellent retention. Nose has subtle Brett and pediococcus. Medium body, very salty on the lips, then lemony tart, then directly sour with a dry finish. Not sure I'm getting the dryhopping so much, but it's definitely an interesting and complex Sour. 210121

12 oz can from Binny's. Pours thick beer foam instead to typical fizzy head of a Berliner. Golden light beer color, with a touch of haze. Smell is kind of light. Just a note of fruit tartness and some funk. Taste is spritzy sour, enough to make me squint. Sourness itself tastes citrus based instead of from acidulated malt. Sour enough to restrict me to sipping it, but it's something I want to keep working on. Further down it comes on like Warheads candy, maybe the sour lemon.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a faint, single centimetre tall pure white head on top. Aroma of light resin, bunches of funk, some softer herbal notes with an astringent quality from the malt of alcohol that has a little pickle, brine or pure salt scents, but the scents are quite vivid. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong very funky and acidic flavour dominates everything with a dash of dry herbal notes, some light grain and a dash of the fruits, with some light lime and pure orange flavours show through without much malt backbone and a dry, but very acidic and tart finish, in a good way, especially for the style. Aftertaste is robust, very acidic and floral throughout with some herbal and a touch grassy even with a light alcohol bite at the very end. Overall, a nice and robust, lightly soured and tart beer that shows a lot of character without being overwhelming or pungent at all. I sampled this ten ounce pour on draught at HopCat in Lincoln, Nebraska on 10-October-2019 for US$5,00.
