(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 Dec 2023) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dark bread, raisins and prunes. Malty taste with caramel, chocolate, prunes, black rye bread and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced English style winter warmer. Nice one.

Can from Systembolaget. Mahogany with a large tan head. Malt, caramel, bread and mild dried fruit. A pleasant one.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20240127) The beer poured deep mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had earth, malts, toffee and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were toffee, toasted malts, caramel, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A nice malty brew with toasted notes.

ABV: 6.8%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, light spicy - wood - tobacco. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, dark malt, spicy - tobacco touch. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20240119]

Sample (thanks omhper!). Copper colour, small off-white head-. Aroma is sweet malts, some mild alcohol and spiciness and some caramel. Flavour juniper, some mild floral, alcohol and mild spicy tones with some earthy and mild toffee tones.

--Canned, from Systembolaget. -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose with hay and toast. Mid sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and bread, leaves and hay. Mid bitter finish. Harmonious and pleasant.

Burk från SB. Kopparfärgad klar vätska med medelhögt skum. Sirapssöt, söt torkad frukt typ päron och dadlar, kryddig beska. Gedigen men lite endimensionell. Trevlig

Kopparröd färg med låg skumslöja. Aromer av Kastanj, brödsirap, fruktig kaka och lite gräddkola. Ren slät och len maltinledning med inslag av sultanrussin. Ren och lätt örtig beska. Värmande och inte påtvingat eldig.
