Hazy purple-red colour with a frothy, creamy pink-redish head, good retention and lots of dirty lacing. Yes, blueberry maple pancakes is what is smells like. Very sweet, but luckily, the taste shows this, but not syrupy. The blueberries comes out stronger, so more fruity, with the maple syrup well-blended and enough hops to have a nice finish. I really like how this brewery is pushing things to be always interesting.

Can from the LCBO. Opaque deep purple with a large lingering dark pink head that leaves stringy lace. Nose is maple, blueberry, maple, milk, bread and maple. Medium+ maple sugar sweetness with a medium- blueberry tartness. Mouth is medium+ and creamy with average carbonation. Balanced but far from subtle. Everything could have been dialled back considerably and it would be enjoyable. 7+/4/6/4/14

29-08-20 // can shared at KKR. I don’t get this stuff way too much of everything for me. Just not working smoothely together. A strong sourness. An extreme maple syrup thick sugary sweetness and body. Blended with a blueberry sweetness it has touches of Maggi. 50ml max for me.

Pours dark red/black with a purple finish. Body is malt, elderberry, blueberry and maple. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light sour with a long sweet blueberry, maple and elderberry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Canned 500ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Deep purple coloured, medium sized purple head, maple and dried vegetables in the nose. Sweet and burnt maple, dried vegetables, some blueberry and heavy lactosewith dry finish. Not for my taste.

Pours very dark red / black. Thick, purple head. Smell is full, mild maple, berries. taste is full, maple, berries, juicy, very thick. Sweet, lower carbo. Nice !

Can from Beer Merchants, drunk at home. Burgundy purple, opaque with a magenta head. Bready fruit muffin notes, light hints of maple on the aroma. Taste is sweet with blueberry and maple, with some measured yartness from the fruit in the long finish. Thick, thick body, low carbonation. This is incredible. So much more than a novelty, although its almost a little too much. Wow.
