Golden ale brewed with malted barley, malted rye, malted oats and raw wheat from the 2019/2020. Spontaneously fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels. The beer was moved onto Cambridge Gages (Cam Valley Orchards, Cambridgeshire) from the 2021 fruit season. We then blended in a portion of beer which had refermented on Guinevere plums (Maynards Fruit Farm, East Sussex) from the 2020 fruit season which had been resting in barrel for a year. Finally it was blended back with further barrels from the 2019/2021 season before packaging.

Shared bottle @ Patricks, A gusher. Unclear golden orange with floating sediments and a big, dense white head. Delicious, mild acidic, quite funky aroma with citric fruit. Taste has smooth, mild acidic citric fruit, peaches and plum. Some funk as well. Balanced body with a long lasting, nice aftertaste. Highly enjoyable, mild funky wild beer.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Patricks. An unclear golden colored beer with a dense, finger thick white head. Lacing. The aroma is funky, with lots of peach, which I guess it's the plums. Cellar notes. It's tart and full bodied, nicely carbonated, with a good fruity sourness. Peach, plums and funk in the flavor. Long finish. Straight forward and nice. 230929
