Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is sweet bready malt with some crushed grain. Flavor is like wise, fresh cut grain with a touch of malty sweetness. Adequate marzen.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Union, NJ. Pours a clear bronze color with a tight khaki head and good retention. Very little lacing. Toasted caramel malts aroma. The taste follows the nose. Semi-sweet, toasted caramel malt flavor. No bitterness. Crisper than most Oktoberfest beers. Smooth and clean. Medium body. Nothing outstanding, but pretty good.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear dark amber with a vigorous beige head. Aroma of amber/roast malt with a little hint of floral/grass. Med body at least. Flavor is amber/roast/caramel with floral and something that could be grass. Not all that dry. Moderately bitter. Very good flavor tho. Expecially for a Marzen.

On tap at the Lockhouse Six near industry, nice place. Friendly looking brownish clear pour without much of a head. Flavor is clean and fresh, a little fruity and just a tad of roastiness in there. Nice levels of CO2 . Easy fun, enjoyable. No bad attributes on the finish. A pleasant beer. It has a little of that ocktoberfest feel but its not over the top.
