330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Jan 23. Thanks Mike for this one. Pours dark, small tan head. Dark malt aroma. Soft palate, punchy strength, definitely quite dry with subtle spices at work. Fine overall.

30th January 2023, Shrewsbury Monthly Gathering at Chez Sophie, only four of us to share the beers. Cheers Mike for the final beer of the evening, a very pleasant 'Night-Cap'. Black bodied, thin beige head. malty, sweet and pretty boozy in nature, spices come through nicely without taking over, didn't feel any 'heat'.

Black still body - rather oily. Malt & boozy aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth with a lively back. Malt, berry, whisky & boozy tastes. Totally lacking carbonation.
