Sampled from the tap at Lovecraft. Pours a clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grass and dank citrus with a hint of onion and rind supporting. Flavor is citrus forward with some grass, rind and light sweet grains backing.

Draft pour at Matter of acraft, Huntington Beach. Clean and bright golden appearance. Tons of loose foam head and lacing. Classic IPA with dank amd grassy hops, with a more subtle tropical fruit note, that exists mostly on the nose. Moderate melon rind bitter, ends on a really refreshing note. Low aggressive hop bill. Delicious brew.

On my second flight in OC Local Taproom, 20th January 2023. All this flight had was three Bottle Logic brews! Golden pour, white wispy head. Citrusy front to this one with a piney shadow in both the aroma and taste. Dank tropical fruit IPA and not as exciting as I'd hoped for. --- Beer merged from original tick of Recursion on 22 Apr 2025 at 16:30 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 8. Original review text: Part of a three beer flight in the OC Local Taproom on 22nd April 2025. Hazed golden body, white head. Citrus lead in both aroma and taste, late earthy/grassy/woody twist in the flavour.

Can from brewery, drunk 12/10/22. Clear bronze-golden. Small, white head showing moderate retention. Peach, papaya, pine and lemon with light sourdough. White bread, cracker, more pine and light resin. Good fruitiness, I guess, but pretty unabashedly west coast. Strong pine, lemon, orange rind, sourdough and resin. Malty but kind of a lost cause unless you really like heavy hop bitterness. Just too much pine and resin and citrus for me. Don't love the malt character either.

Slightly cloudy orange, with a fluffy bright white head. Smell is piney, apricot. Light, very soft. Taste is heavy bitter, with some subtle fruit in there, stone fruit, something lightly tropical. Very balanced, and real easy drinking, but maybe too light.

On tap at Bottle Logic, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dank cat pee hops, some pine, and tropical notes. Flavour is wonderfully dank and cat pee-like—those citra hops are really showcased beautifully. Just enough malt to balance. Excellent.
