Saku Originaal is a classic Estonian beer brewed according to European standards of quality with the help of modern technology. The first brew in 1993 stands out as a breakthrough event in the history of Estonian brewing and it is safe to say that Saku Originaal was the first Estonian quality beer.
Saku Original is brewed from water, barley malt, carefully selected hops and the Saku Brewery's own brewers yeast. The pleasantly hoppy and pure taste make Saku Original an easy-to-drink beer that is perfect for when hanging with friends or with a nice meal. To this day, Saku Original remains one of the most consumed beers in Estonia.

Can via Rimi, Tallinn. Thin body-med-high carbonation. Med-light bitterness, low sweetness. Med-light corny flavour, little else to be found here. Drinkable, but boring, dull.

Can, 0.5l. Pale yellow pour, two finger soapy white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing. Sweet on the nose, grains, grass, rust. Quite empty. Light body, soft carbonation. Thin mouthfeel, watery texture. Bittersweet taste, bland aroma. Grains, grass, rust, corn. No finish to speak of, metallic aftertaste. Meh.

500 ml can, from the grocery store in Tofinis Hotel, Ayia Napa, Cyprus. ABV is 4.7%. Pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of pilsener malts, grain and a little grassy hops. Light bodied. The flavour has a little sweetness, otherwise this is a fairly \"neutral\" pilsener, but kind of refreshing, as the beer is wet and cold.
