This is a single can of our core amber – Southpaw. For Southpaw, we chose the hoppier end of the amber spectrum, once again using all-American hops and plenty of them. The malt composition is fairly complex, bringing sweetness roasted notes and overall balance.

[Cask at the Basingstoke Beer Festival 2025.] A golden amber pour with a tight white head; sweet biscuity aroma; caramel biscuit taste cut through with a little citrus.

Cask at Southwark Tavern in London. Amber red pour. Small tan cap. Enduring lace. Subtle toasted malt aroma. Flavor is light toffee and toasted bread. Soft and silky. Light bodied. Crushable.

Cask at Victoria, Derby. Pours a hazy “bitter brown” with minimal off-white head. There’s malts and stonefruits in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with s little underlying bitterness and a slightly watery texture. Flavour has malts, mixed hops and autumn fruits with traces of tangerine and honey later leading to a slightly fruity finish. This is reasonable though not particularly exciting.

Thuis uit een blikje. Amber kleur, rommelig schuim. Mild hoppig aroma, maar een stevige hopsmaak. Erg goed voor dit abv.
