A stunning Irish take on the classic Belgian Saison style! This brew was fermented with Belgian saccharomyces var. diastaticus yeast strain and a sprinkling of Saaz hops to make a real delight packed with hints of banana, and a light bit of spice of pepper.

Clear, rich golden with a pillowy white head. Sweet fruits, banana, white pepper, spice, hay, herbal notes, yeast. Medium, slippery body. Finish has a sweetness to it that covers an otherwise nice pepper profile. An interesting take on the style and a fun sip. Would like to see the sweetness come down some but no actual complaints, here.

440ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with huge, dense, firm, beaten egg white head. Yeasty spicy and minimally yeasty fruity aroma, minimally bready-grainy and spicy, pale malty background, hints of banana, some white pepper, some black pepper, minimally grassy, herbal-spicy, hoppy overtones. Taste is mildly bitter, herbal-grassy hoppy, yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, sweet-ish and minimally bready-grainy as well as spicy, pale malty, minimally diluted hints of banana, pear, melon, some black pepper, white pepper, a touch of protein.
Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Well balanced, very nice, rural-spicy yeasty notes, subtle sweetness, well matching hop flavours - enjoyable.

Huge, dense & fine white head over finely carbonated clear golden beer, leaving shards of lace. Bit lemonpeel, even "wild-yeast-y", but smelling of watercolour paint. Bitterish, and again this very outspoken watercolour paint flavour. Just a pinpoint of lemon. Very well carbonated, even creamy feel from the head. Finish and aftertaste feel a bit empty. Mates. A beer is either Pilsner or Vienna, not both. And THIS is in no way Vienna! Txs to Stef!

Can at home(ish) from Craft Central. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Nose is highly pos+, some esters, the bottom of the can really needed to come out as well, before that is had a lot less character. Spicy in taste, some esters show, big time banana, decent bitterness helps rounding it out. Chuggable, nice and round

Can split at the Tilt Tasting, Bingohame Convention VI, picked up from Yards and Crafts online 02/07/22. Hazed golden orange with a good sized white cap. Nose is straw, lemon rind, saison yeast, herb, grains. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, hedgerow, light funk, yeast esters, grass, green berry must, balsa wood, light white peppery spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Well brewed saison ... ticks the style boxes well.

Brum gathering, Tilt Tasting; 2nd July 2022. Cheers Colin for the 440ml can of this, my first ever County Longford rating (my 342nd region on RateBeer). Golden body had a mini-haze to it, white topping. Floral and grassy nose, taste also grassy with a sprinkling of pepper and semi-sour citrussy notes.
