440ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a short-lived, frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, pumpkin. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, herbal, dry pumpkin, light liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Pours black with quickly fading fizzy beige top. Aroma is mixed spice galore with some sweet vanilla notes. Taste has a sweet milky chocolate with cinnamon, nutmeg and then the ginger warmth kicks in with a subtle roast. A bit too light bodied and carbonated. Not great.

[44cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A dark cola brown coloured pour with a fast fading beige head; fruity aroma with a little spice; sweet malty taste with a lot of cinnamon; and some sweet pumpkin and more spice to finish. I’ve never been a fan of pumpkin beers, and this didn’t change my mind.

Can from Home Bargains, Inverurie. It pours darkest brown to black with a small khaki head. The aroma is roasted malt, sweet and spicy, vanilla, cinnamon, spiced cookies, gingerbread and big red chewing gum. The taste is roasted malt, sweet and spicy, toasty vibes, earthy, vanilla cola, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread, some umami, liquorice and a touch of rocky road with a warming spice finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Actually it's fine. Drinkbable.

Can at home. Off black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are pumpkin earthy and slight spice clove and cinnamon. Light sweet chocolate. Thin body.

Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Practically black with next to no head. Ordinary stout with a few winter style spices thrown in. These, including cinamon are inoffensively light.

440ml can from Home Bargains: BB 18th September 2024. Drank at home on 20th October 2023. Black bodied, tanned top. Fairly sweet and 'spicy', it's interesting I suppose and cheap.
