Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol October 2023. Pale gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Citrus hops, some tropical fruit character, light maltiness leading to a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at Hedgeford Lodge, Hednesford. Pours pale straw with minimal white head and good lacing. There’s tropical fruits and floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth it is briefly slightly sweet before being swamped by bitterness of citrus snd floral hops. Flavour has grapefruit, mango, tropical fruits and some hints ofcorn. Finish is dry and slightly sticky. It’s OK, but too much citrus for my liking.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Clear gold with a thin white head and a light fizz. Cracking condition, well done 'Spoons. Straw, light citrus and a decent, well, balanced bitterness to finish. Maybe a tad thin, but a good start to the fest nevertheless.

Hand-pulled third of a pint at a local Wetherspoons on 15th October 2023. Pale golden body, white crown. Nice hop profile, mild citrusy nose and taste, some honest bitterness in there too. Liked it.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A pale straw coloured pour with a thin white head; weak tropical fruit aroma; grainy body with some pineapple; and a dry, slightly spicy finish.
