Sample @ MBCC 2019, green session. Nice head with good . Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, cocoa, coconut, coffee nd hops. Nice bitter finish.

MBCC. BLack with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and spicy. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little chili. Oily. 110519

Sample at the Hoof Hearted Brewpub and Kitchen. Brown-black color with a medium thin khaki head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. The aroma consists of malt, cinnamon, chocolate and peppers. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, cinnamon, vanilla and subtle spicy pepper. The finish is smokey peppers and fudge. Good beer all around.
