Bottle from the lcbo. Jet black pour, medium light brown head. Robust malt Aroma, slightly sweet charred malts, with hints of smoke and coffee. Finish is very roasty, and malty, with some good coffee, and bitter cocoa. Hints of licorice and campfire, light bitterness.

Aroma of dark malt, chocolate, some coffee, mild smoke. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Smooth and tasty.

Аромат мощный, сильно копченый, совсем немного винный, а также на оттенке ваниль. Цвет темный, с красивой кремовой пенкой. Вкус питкий, приятный, хорошая сбалансированная копченость. Чувствуется приятная сливочность. Послевкусие немного ванильное, сладкое, напоминает кекс или сладкий пирог. Опять же приятная не навязчивая копченость. В целом отлично, весьма удивлен. Странно что он не в топе.

Color negro opaco con espuma marrón. El aroma ahumado sobresale por encima de todo, trayendo notas de tocino ahumado, ceniza, brasas...En boca tiene vigor y carácter, definitivamente esta no es una de esas "ahumadillas" que apenas dejan un recuerdo lejano a humo, esta porter te sumerge en cenizas hasta las cejas (¡bien!), por el paladar desfilan notas de malta torrefacta, potente café expresso, pan quemado, cenizas de puro...y esa textura y sensación tan curiosa en la boca que solo ofrecen las "muy ahumadas" y que a fecha de hoy sólo había sentido con la Urbock de Schlenkerla. No hay mucho más que decir, estas cervezas o las amas o la odias, y a mi me encantan

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe, online. Pours black with moderate sized beige head, nice lasting top. Aroma is smoke, roasted malts, big coffee notes, milk chocolate. Taste is smoke, wood, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, hint of fruity zest, dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. I'm still not convinced I have the taste for smoked beers but this is certainly the best and most balanced one I have had to date.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque black coloured brew with an great dry bitter taste and great hints of smoked, chocolate and coffee. Like the famous fluid smokey ham-meat beer from Alaskan brewery, very nice one.

330ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from Beers of Europe and drunk of home. It pours very dark brown and slightly translucent with a small brown head. Aroma of smoky plums, light flowery notes, some ruby chocolate. Sweet taste, a little smoky, more stone fruits, some light bitter hops near the finish. Slightly watery body, carbonation on the soft side. Reserved and unique.

Bottle. Nose is sweet smoke, meaty, hint of soy, salty. Taste is smoke, dark malts, sweet, hint of caramel, touch of soy, and salt in a finish.
