Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Light roasty malt with hops, some citrus, hint of grapefruit and coffee. Decent bitterness, but the aroma leaves a lot to be desired: It's all a bit too restrained. I expect better from Siren.

Can from Beer52's Siren 10th Anniversary box. Pours a dark brown with decent consistent beige foam. Typical Black IPA aroma - hoppy citric and tropical notes with and undercurrent of roasted malt, maybe some mint in there. Taste of citrus zest, pineapple, passionfruit, roasted malt, menthol. Light to medium bodied with a fine to moderate carbonation. A fuller body would have worked better here but its a tasty brew.

(Draught at Mother Kelly's, Bethnal Green, London, 19 May 2023) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted, hoppy nose with notes of chocolate, dark bread and citrus. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with chocolate, dark bread, toast, grapefruit, pine needles and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well balanced black IPA, with a good hop presence. Very nice.

Can from Beer 52 - drank at home. Way to go on the pour for this one ! Not much froth on opening the can – but tons when attempting to pour it into my glass. Ended up with a whole glass of froth. Anyway, pours very dark reddish-brown with a cream head and good lacing. Teres roasted malts and milky coffee in the aroma. Malts and chocolate initially in the mouth, but some citrus, cola and strawberries comes through quite quickly. Some caramel and slight bitterness in the finish. It’s OK, but nothing to write home about – definitely lacking in the hop department.

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen (30/06/2023) - Light roasted malty and hoppy aroma and taste, getting some citrus and pine needles, light juicy berry notes in there, medium body, fruity light roasted malty and bitter hoppy close. More fruity sweet than roasted BIPA.

Draft. A dar brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and some citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, hops, and citrus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

330ml can via Beer52: BB 5th April 2024. Drank at home on 26th May 2023. Tanned head on a dark brown, almost black body. Toasted malty nose, slight fruity front to the taste, malts kick in again with some chocolate like flavours.
