Strike Thirst. A cyclone of flavour and aromatics tamed by expert brewers in three stages of hopping at our independent brewery in Yorkshire.
Cascade and Whitbread Goldings in the copper, Cascade and Chinook at the hop back stage, then dry hopping with Jester and Ernest.
All combining with natural Knowle Spring water, fine barley malts and our unique Taylor’s Taste yeast to create the tropical storm of flavour and aroma.

Draft at the Glengower Hotel, Aberystwyth. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a somewhat light, crisp, malt, light woody hop bitter palate. A poor uninspiring beer. Does nothing to enhance the otherwise excellent Tim Taylor brand.

Can from Morrisons, Inverurie. It pours clear golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, fairly mellow, summer blossom, orangey citrus, touch of apricot, biscuity and bready. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, limited bitterness, fairly mellow/muted, pine needles, gummy candy, touch of apricot/peach, orangey citrus, slightly floral and soapy with a drying finish. Light + body and moderate, slightly foamy carbonation. Pretty alright. Perhaps a bit muted on the taste, but some nice elements.

Can from Sainsburys. Amber pour with a white head. Lemon sherbet & grapefruit aromas. Taste is bitter citrus, light grains. Lightly tropical, splash of orange marmalade. Bitter aftertaste. Straightforward enough brew but gets slightly better as it goes along.

Hazy yellow/orange pour with a white head, dissapearing quickly. Aroma is malt, honey and a faint bit of fruit. Taste malt, honey, hops, some herbs, slightly bitter finish. OK, but not mindblowing.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with notes of toasted hay, a little orange peel, British yeast, sun-kissed grains, soft pine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fresh grains in the finish, more citrus peel. OK overall.

Keg, half-pint in the Mason's Arms, Gargrave on 31st March 2023. Clean golden orange body, thin white head. Bland and pretty boring with a mini hop thing trying to happen, some slight malt action too.

440ml can - Pours a clear golden colour with a small frothy white head. The aroma is malty, toasted cereal, toffee and some light fruity notes. A moderately sweet and bitter taste, grainy cereals, malt, light toffee and some fruity flavours with a drying bitterness. A bit thin and ordinary.
