Can. A bit old. Clear dark brown, looks like cola but with a long lasting head. Sweet malts, dark chocolate, lime zest, grassy hops, toffee, earthy chestnuts and pecans, tar, bitter dead leaves. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Oily body. Nice still.

Can shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Thanks to Kenny. A light hazed reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting beige cap. Aroma is semi sweet, big resinous pine, tar, rubber, toasted malts. Palate is semi sweet, resinous, sticky, moderate airy carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody roast, liquorice, pine tar. Robust black ipa.

Bottleshare at Craft Beer Junction. Thanks to me. Clear deep brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thinnish malts, a trace of creamy sweetness. Light toasty bitterness. Mild red berries and light pine. A pinch of hop spice. Light airy finish. Mild bitter linger. Old skool BIPA, nice, tad dry.

Can at home shared with Laura and Dutchdrebus. Dark brown to black color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, dark malt bitter and hop bitters. Very well balanced I must say, one of the few good Black IPA's I've had. Very solid.

Can 330ml (Hoptimaal)
Dark ruby colour, small off-white head. Dusty licorice/coffee aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet licorice, some citrusy hops, some bittering hops in the aftertaste. Quite a lot of licorice for solid CDA.

Very dark brown with thin head. Loads of dark roasted malt. Sone coffee too. Followed by leafy, green resinous hops. Very flavoursome but so easy to drink.
