Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Nose is amazing with pure hazelnut and peanuts. Aroma is peanuts, hazelnuts, pecan, maple syrup, vanilla, hazelnut-infused coffee, caramel, powdery chocolate, fudge, and nougat. Flavour is sweet with a bitterness that is almost harsh. Body is full but not as thick as some of the other Omnipollo pastry Stouts. Lovely nutty aroma, if the flavour and body would have been more smooth and rich this would have been top tier Omnipollo. Nose and aroma are amazing...

Bottle. It's a dark brown beer with a small dark beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has lots of oat biscuit, with alcohol, roasted malts and some coffee. It's quite dry on the palate, smooth, with oat biscuit dominating the flavor. Some alcohol, with coffee and dark chocolate. Lasting finish. Nice enough, but a bit unbalanced. 240907

Bottled (Alko). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, vanilla, mild roasted tones along with some liquorice, alcohol and mild spiciness. Flavour is roasted, coffeeish, toffee, some alcohol, vanilla, fudge and a bit nutty notes. Nice one.

(Bottle) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, black bread, hazelnuts, rum raisins, toffee and butterscotch. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, black bread, rum raisins, orange peel, butterscotch, toasted cereal and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. Rich and powerful, smooth mouthfeel and fairly well balanced. On the sweet side, but really rich and tasty. Very nice.

Black with a frothy, light brown head. Smells like a waffle house. Peanut butter cup, sawdust and nougat as well. Taste is moderate sweet with a gentle, roasted bitterness at the end. Lingering nougat. Body is medium, carbonation mild. Pretty good stuff if kept to measured doses.

Pitch black colored, moderate strong tan creamy head. Coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted notes, moderate sweet, loads of granola, cereal, caramel, bit of dark fruit, medium roasty bitterness. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy.

Sample @ MBCC2017. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of vanilla, dark fruits, fudge, caramel, light roast. Taste has vanilla, fudge, bread, chocolate, biscuits.

Appearance is oily midnight black, with a small tan head which quickly disappears. Aroma is peanut butter, caramel shortbread, chocolate cake, vanilla, dark roast malt, fudge, nutty malt, pecan, cocoa powder, more chocolate and peanut butter. Taste is chocolate fudge, coffee, roast malt, peanut butter, pecan pie, vanilla hints, malty toast, caramel, hints of spices such as cardamom, malty sweet finish.
